MAGIC

MAGIC

Words by Rachel Hartnett

Music by J. Roel Lungay

Arranged and performed by Fr. J. Roel Lungay

1
When I go for a walk in the morning
My footsteps will lag a bit now,
But I'll still hear a mockingbird singing
Out there on a sycamore bough.

2
I will still smell the fragrance of roses
Ablaze in a garden nearby,
I will still see the glory of sunlight
In a rose-pink and lavender sky.

3
So why should I feel that I'm shackled
By the frailness of humankind here,
When nature with all of her magic
Is making my sighs disappear.
