BEYOND TODAY

BEYOND TODAY

(Unfinished version - recorded without effects, due to loss of recording equipments after Hurricane Katrina in 2005)

Text: Author Unknown

Music by TQ Solis, Jr.

Arranged and performed by Fr. J. Roel Lungay

1
If you could see beyond today
As God can see
If all the clouds should roll away
The shadows flee;
Over present grief we would not fret,
Each sorrow we would soon forget,
For many joys are waiting yet
For you and me.

2
If we could know beyond today
As God has known.
Why dearest treasures pass away
And tears must go;
And why the darkness leads to light?
Why dreary days will soon grow bright?
Someday life's wrong will be made right,
Faith tells us so.

3
If we could see, if we could know
We often say,
But God in love a veil has roll across our way
We cannot see what lies before
And so we cling to Him the more
He leads us til this life is over.

GIFTS TO FIND

GIFTS TO FIND

Words by Michael Dubina

Music by TQ Solis, Jr.

Arranged and performed by Fr. J. Roel Lungay

1
From each day of life on earth
Learn to find a gift of mirth;
From the days when things go wrong
Find a smile or prayerful song.
Tears of anguish, rants of ire
Will not change what has transpired.
Tears of anguish, rants of ire
Will not change what has transpired.

2
Find a faith to faith renew
From each day you're passing through;
Find a touch of peace and grace
From the days that grief embrace.
Let no cloud of past dismay,
Dim your sunshine of today.
Let no cloud of past dismay
Dim your sunshine of today.

3
What is done - or means to be -
Will not change with woeful plea;
Hopes and dreams that TIME estranged
Hate and anger will not change.
Learn to find some love each day
In the time you find to pray.
Learn to find some love each day
In the time you find to pray.

Coda:
In the time you find to pray.

MY SAVIOR WALKS BESIDE ME

MY SAVIOR WALKS BESIDE ME

El Mariachi

Words by Kathryn Thorne Bowsher

Music by TQ Solis, Jr.

Arranged and performed by Fr. J. Roel Lungay

1
My Savior walks beside me,
Where troubled paths I tread;
He whispers words of comfort
And fills my every need.

2
He went this way before me,
Up Calv'ry's hill to climb,
To bring me His salvation
And joyous peace sublime.

Refrain:
Each day He walks beside me;
I lean upon His breast;
I know the way He leadeth
Will always be God's best.

(Repeat all)

(Repeat 1)

THE LIGHT BEYOND

THE LIGHT BEYOND

Words by Vi B. Chevalier

Music and piano arrangement by TQ Solis, Jr.

Performed by Fr. J. Roel Lungay

1
When somber (oops!) clouds of steely grey
Cast shadows o'er your heart and way,
Look up beyond the darkened sky
Where tints of blue will soon drift by.

2
Look up and know that in God's plan
No sparrow falls nor, too, a man
Without His watch,
Without His love.
Have faith, believe, trust Him above.

Refrain:
For from the dark is born the light,
A ray of hope, a beacon bright
To warm your heart and help you through.
Rejoice and know God's there with you.

YOU'RE NOT ALONE

YOU'RE NOT ALONE

Words by Clay Harrison

Music by TQ Solis, Jr.

Arranged and performed by Fr. J. Roel Lungay

1
You're not alone when troubles come
And your heart is beating like a drum.
You're not alone through sorrow's night
When nothing seems to go just right.

Refrain 1:
The Savior waits to hear from you
And give you strength for all you do.
He knows the secrets of your heart
And He can make your fears depart.

2
You're not alone without a guide
He sees each tear you've ever cried.
God comforts those who seek His way
And knows our hearts before we pray.

Refrain 2:
His perfect peace and endless love
Fall like feathers from above.
There is no cross to large to bear
You're not alone for Christ is there!
